UFM follows the USDA and Michigan Department of Education Meal Pattern requirements when planning all menus.

A cold rotational breakfast menu with the option to choose a hot breakfast twice weekly. The School Breakfast Program makes it possible for all school children to receive a nutritious breakfast every school day. We also offer grab-n-go breakfast or second chance breakfast options.

We offer you up to three menu options everyday – at no additional cost.
Salad Bar options are available daily
Flexible, easy monthly ordering process, with the option to make daily revisions
Peace of mind that changes to your order can be modified daily to minimize waste
All meals are prepared daily in our licensed commercial kitchen in compliance with HAACP food safety guidelines.
Meals are prepared in compliance with Health Department Guidelines and are safely stored in temperature controlled facilities.
Your meals are prepared specific to your order family style in stainless steel pans or ready to serve in unitized meals. Hot bulk components will be loaded into cambros to maintain proper temperatures during transport and delivery.
We provide all service ware and paper products as necessary included in your meal price.

A hot or cold rotational lunch menu cycle, with up to three menus to choose from every day. The National School Lunch Program provides school children with one-third or more of their Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA) for key nutrients.

A cold & hot rotational supper/snack menu with one choice offered daily. Afterschool programs that participate in CACFP give children and teenagers the nutrition they need, and draw them into constructive activities that are safe, fun, and filled with opportunities for learning.

We offer a daily salad bar option filled with healthy choices for your students to choose from. Salad bars can profoundly shift the typical school lunch by offering students variety, but also allows them to make their own choice which tends to increase the student participation rate in the NSLP.

Give your students additional options by offering a sandwich station and seasonal soups in the fall and winter months.
