Unique Food Management is a well-established, minority owned caterer located in Pontiac, Michigan. We started our small business in 1992 and with dedication and perseverance, UFM has successfully grown into a full-service production kitchen with a staff of 50+ employees that produce and deliver over 6,000 meals daily.
Over the years our company has grown and diversified; providing contracted services for Private Catering, Headstart programs, K-12 Charter Schools, USDA Sponsored Summer Feeding Programs, CACFP afterschool programs, Daycares, Rehabilitation Centers & Correctional Facilities.
Our team is concentrated on continuous improvement, while focusing on the quality of our meal programs. UFM does not waiver from its full time job of carefully listening to its customers and responding to their needs.
Meet the lady that makes Unique Food Management the amazing company that it is. Rosa Randolph is a dynamic and successful entrepreneur with more than 40 years of food management service. She is a visionary with a “can do” attitude, who seeks opportunities, builds strong teams, and delivers results. Although Rosa has enjoyed much success, she does not forget her humble beginning.
Raised in Tennessee by her mom along with five siblings, Rosa was taught the value of education, the meaning of love, and the importance of family and friends. Rosa’s love of learning was evident from a very young age and she earned a full academic scholarship to Tennessee State University. She completed her collegiate education in Michigan earning a bachelor’s degree in Human Services from Saint Mary’s College.

Ms. Randolph honed her food service management skills during a 19-year career at several major medical facilities including Crittenden Hospital, Detroit Receiving Hospital, and Grace Hospital. However, Rosa always dreamed of owning her own business. While working full time as a food service manager, Rosa started Randy’s BBQ Carry Out. As the business grew, Rosa made the decision to leave the “corporate” world and launch Unique Food Management, Inc.
Today, Rosa is the owner and president of Unique Food Management, Inc. Unique Food Management is an off-premise catering business located in Pontiac, MI. Under Rosa’s leadership and hard work, the company has flourished over the last twenty years. Currently, the full service production kitchen produces and delivers over 25,000 meals per week to a variety of clientele including Meals on Wheels and Charter Schools.
While leading Unique Food Management is a full time job, Rosa still finds time to give back to the community.
